How do I make a Minecraft skin?
Open the editor, pick Steve (Classic) or Alex (Slim), choose a colour and paint on the 3D model or the flat 64x64 template. Use the overlay layer for hats, hair and jackets. Then press Export, choose Java or Bedrock and press Download. The guide "How to make a Minecraft skin: your first skin in 5 minutes" shows every step with screenshots.
Can I make a Minecraft skin from an image or photo?
Yes. Photo to Skin turns one photo — or separate front, back, side and top photos — into a skin, with cropping, background removal and a pixel look. The photo stays on your device. Upload also turns any picture into a skin texture.
Can I get a Minecraft skin from a username?
Yes. In the editor, open Import skin and type a Minecraft Java player name to load their current skin (and cape), then edit it.
Can I make HD Minecraft skins (128x128)?

Yes. Every skin has a base layer and an overlay (second) layer for hats, jackets and sleeves, and you can turn on extra paint layers that you can hide, fade or reorder.
How do I put my skin in Minecraft Java and Bedrock?
Java: download the PNG, then Minecraft Launcher → Skins → New skin → pick the file and choose Classic or Slim. Bedrock: download the .mcpack, open it so Minecraft imports it, then Dressing Room → Classic skins.

Yes. Skin Repair lets you place every face of the skin again from any picture. Old 64x32 skins can be imported too and open in the current 64x64 layout.
What is the difference between Steve and Alex skins?
The arms: Steve (Classic) has 4-pixel-wide arms and Alex (Slim) has 3-pixel-wide arms. Pick the same model in Minecraft as the one you painted on.
Where can I get a Minecraft skin template?
In the editor, open Templates & stamps for a blank body, Starter Steve or Starter Alex, plus clothing and face stamps. The 2D view shows the full 64x64 template with each body part labelled.
